Ellaika Villegas. I’m 25 years old and have worked across theatre, voice-over, and TV & film. I was born in the Philippines but moved to England when I was seven. Growing up, I was pretty shy and found it hard to express myself—until I discovered acting. It completely changed everything for me. It gave me confidence, a voice, and a way to be my true self. Whether I’m on stage, behind a mic, or in front of a camera, I love bringing stories to life and connecting with people through the characters I play.

PAMELA DEVEREUX I was born in London but grew up in Cornwall. I started dancing at the age of 6 and have been involved in amateur dramatics since I was 8. The love of performing never left me, so I studied drama in college, then made the move to Liverpool - total culture shock! After gaining my Diploma, I began working as a children's entertainer, then became an entertainment manager at a holiday park back home in Cornwall. Moving to Brighton gave me the opportunity to appear in many films and TV dramas, including Holby City and Secrets of Crickley Hall. I completed a 6-week film and television course in London and was lucky enough to be chosen by Jean Marlow (the writer of the majority of the monologue books) for a film where I was the stunt/body double and stand-in for the lead role. We worked for a few weeks in Pinewood Studios with greats such as Peter O'Toole and Joss Ackland. Coming back to Liverpool, I settled down and had 2 wonderful boys. I belong to an amateur dramatics company and am currently performing in 'My Fair Lady' as Mrs. Hopkins. I am also the show choreographer.

Alison Saunders was born and raised in North London in a house full of books and she grew up with a passion for literature, theatre and film. She considers herself something of a keen movie buff and has long admired the work of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor from their early careers throughout their heyday and later films. Aliso discovered her own love of acting relatively late in life but has certainly made up for lost time by throwing herself into as many stage and TV roles as she can get! She excels at playing intense, mercurial roles, drawing on raw emotion. She also has good comic timing and enjoys playing comedic roles. Her favourite theatre roles to date have included Varya in The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov, Ruth in Calendar Girls by Tim Firth, Marilyn in Neil Anthony Docking’s The Revlon Girl and a gender-blind Merchant in Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice. Alison’s drive to stretch herself and constantly improve her acting skills has led her to complete several intensive courses at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Alison is also a playwright and her radio and stage plays have been performed both by professional and amateur companies. In 2024, Alison gave up her career in public sector marketing in order to concentrate fully on completing and publishing what she hopes will be her first fiction novel. The book is a labour of love inspired by the true story of her mother and grandmother’s evacuation from London’s East End at the start of the second World War. It is written from the heart primarily as an homage to her late mother and as such, it is full of intimate, bittersweet and witty moments full of poignancy. The book explores how a young woman’s wartime experiences shaped the character traits of her daughter and the relationship between them. Alison is currently developing two further fiction projects, enjoying the whole writing journey and the artistic freedom of writing. She now lives in rural Wales with her husband and although this is an ideal setting to write and to be inspired, Alison spends a lot of time in the car getting to the theatre for rehearsals and performances!

Shaz Lancaster starred in the title role in the award winning BBC Short Film Rory Romantic which gained him a "Best Actor" nomination. He went onto be in the cast of the International Award winning Sci-Fi comedy Deliver Us From Gee. A victim of a demon in the horror/thriller film Ancient Demon Succubi. A henchman in film drama The Forbidden Note . A Rasta regular of the Black Cross pub in the film version of the Martin Amis book, London Fields. An angry resident in the thriller Containment. A film in which he had a chance to do some stunt fighting. A roadie/musician in the comedy/drama film Miss You Already. A role as a drug dealing musician in the recent Rosemary’s Baby prequel Apartment 7A. The roles have been varied and relatively challenging. He actually ventured into acting by writing a short film for himself (the first time he’d attempted to do this!) playing three roles. He filmed and edited it over 48hrs and it actually gained him his first agent! All this from a man who started out as a singer/musician sharing the stage with the likes of East 17, Sinitta, Touch and Go and in a strange twist, Princess Stephanie of Monaco! He’s recently started to venture into fringe theatre playing Martin in a rehearsed reading of Marlon and Me and Joe in the interestingly named My Wife Fell In Love With A Life Size Cardboard Cut-Out Of Ronan Keating.
